Stubborn cause of her steadfast refusal of getting along with dragons. =3

Couldn't resist giving her a quick colouring. Yay Blue and brown colour scheme <3 Tried to incorporate both her father's and her mother's designs into her.

Name: Bera
Age: around 14 or 15
Parents: Astrid and Hiccup
Dragon: N/A (doesn't have one at this point)
Physical: Left handed, partially deaf in her right ear. Very athletic and strong, but is also smart like her father. Refuses to use those smarts in favour of brawn. Has a very good aiming arm with all weapons.
Personality: Very stubborn and hard-headed, doesn't get along with most of the villagers because she hates dragons. Seems and acts very cold because of this, but she is actually very kind and sensitive once you hit the right spots. Has a strong love for animals, just not dragons.

Story: (mostly copy pasted from my initial sketch)
Based years after the Vikings and the Dragons began to coincide, more dragons started to emerge - ancient fearsome dragons such as the ThunderDrum and the Scrill. These guys aren't very friendly. Every attempt to befriend or tame these dragons have resulted in death - thus, Berk is once again in a dragon war. This time, they do have their own dragons such as the Gronkle and the Zippleback at their side so they've been putting up a good fight.
Their only plan - they have to destroy all of the deadly dragons in order to keep their village and dragons safe. Their dragons agree. and are siding with the Vikings in their battle.

The reason Bera hates dragons because at a very young age, she got caught in the middle of a fierce dragon battle - she was nearly killed by a ThunderDrum - concussion attack at close range. She also got a first-person look at a Whispering Death's mouth - nearly got swallowed whole before her Dad saved her just in time.

All of this caused a deep-set hatred for all dragons - despite her being raised up around friendly dragons and being taught how to care for them and ride them, she still hates them. She feels no sorrow for those who die in the battles.
She herself has been a good hand at the battle against the Ancient dragons - she refuses to get a dragon mount of her own and fights from the ground. She battles and kills any downed dragon she can find. Sure, being a great warrior is a huge help, but since dragons are infused in pretty much every part of Berk's lifestyle now, from bread making to carpenters, it's rather hard for her to get along with people.

Yay Dragons fanart <3 She will get a dragon, but not for a while into the 'story' I'm hoping someone I watch here on DA can design her a dragon, I'm waiting on them for it. I'm patient though.
