Can't believe I hadn't scanned this loveable squish yet. X3

Drawn LAST friday in perspective. He's the first of my newest species of dragons - Gekodragons.

This is Lumiiere, my favourite Gekodragon and the only one with a character background and name. Any attributes he has are the general for his breed.

Breed: Luminescent Gekodragon
Name: Lumiiere
Age: 400 (young)
Sex: Male
Colouring: Pale green, with all the blue markings here glowing a bright blue.
Nature: Kind and slightly mischevious but extremely shy as to his breed - they're nearly never ever seen so very hard to study.
Attributes: Has superior senses of hearing and touch. His eyesight in the dark is superb, but he can only see in phosphorescent light. Natural or electric light severely hurts his eyes. VERY flexible and lithe, but extreme sturdy and fast. Also has a semi-collapsible skeleton.
Has a spot on the top of his eyes that always points directly upwards no matter the angle of his head, like in a praying mantis' eye.
Population: VERY RARE. These species live for very very long lifespans, but hardly ever come in contact, thus there being very few in number, or the most that's ever been recorded. May be as little as 30 in the entire earth.

This lovable guy lives deep within the earth, in caverns with natural phosphorescent crystals and pure lakes.
He stands on all fours at the eye height of a normal adult, but sitting upright on his hind legs he's half again as tall.

His diet consists mainly of the crystals in his home and the water - his saliva has a special acid that melts the crystals into a sort of slush wherever he licks them so that he can digest the minerals properly - that's also how his natural markings glow.
NOTE: Markings are slightly different on each Luminescent.
He also eats the occasional bat or other cave creature that crosses his path, just to fill his extremely low need for protein.
